Concrete in its purest exposed form. From the side elevations, the manipulation of the window openings obscure angles implies a intentional orientation of the patron’s view. Towards what? Cut corners, non-perpendiculatic interiors. Unsettling Surfaces and texture doesn’t give off an welcoming feel; weird for a holiday house, but maybe the Swiss has different taste for holidays. Located in much older-generation homes, yet doesn’t look too modern in relation to site. Good building, overall!
